Large OLED TVs above 70 inches "grow against the trend"

According to Korean media, in the context of slowing global TV demand, the "70 inch or larger" super large OLED TV market has attracted much attention due to its "independent growth".

As the largest TV market, the demand for high-definition large screens in North America is increasing. Next year, not only LG Display, but also Samsung Display is expected to produce 70 inch OLED panels. It is expected that there will be fierce competition between Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics

On the other hand, due to the increase in panel supply and the demand for high-definition TV viewing, it is estimated that the sales volume of OLED TVs of 70 inches or larger will reach 699000 this year. This is 17.9% higher than last year's sales (593000 units). Omdia predicts that the sales volume of oversize OLED TVs will increase year by year, and will exceed 1 million by 2025.

In fact, in North America, the growth trend of 77 inch OLED TVs exceeds 65 inches. Although the sales volume of 65 inches is very high, 77 inches has recently shown a high sales growth rate. Data shows that the sales volume of 70-79 inch OLED TVs (241500 sets) in North America last year surged by 160% year on year.
