Characteristics and Process of LCD Display Screen
The LCD display is also known as a liquid crystal display. The abbreviation for LCD in English is Liquid Crystal Display, which is a type of flat display. The LCD display screen uses two pieces of liquid crystal solution in polarized materials, and the crystals are rearranged when the current passes through the liquid to achieve the purpose of imaging.
Characterisitcs of the TFT LCD
1. The resolution of the LCD display can be very high, and the PPI (pixels per inch) of general mobile phones can reach more than 300.
2. The LCD screen has more gray levels, and the LCD screen can display a wider range of colors.
3. High display quality: Since every point of the LCD screen keeps that color and brightness after receiving the signal, it emits constant light, unlike the cathode ray tube display (CRT) that needs to constantly refresh the bright spot.
Therefore, the LCD monitor has a high image quality and will never flicker, minimizing eye fatigue.
4. No electromagnetic radiation: The display material of the traditional display screen is a phosphor, which is displayed by the electron beam hitting the phosphor. The electron beam will generate strong electromagnetic radiation when it hits the phosphor. Although many display products deal with the radiation problem effectively and minimize the amount of radiation as much as possible, it is difficult to eliminate it.
Relatively speaking, LCD screens have inherent advantages in preventing radiation, because there is no radiation at all.
In the prevention of electromagnetic waves, the LCD screen also has its own unique advantages. It uses strict sealing technology to enclose a small number of electromagnetic waves from the drive circuit in the display screen.
In order to dissipate heat, ordinary displays must make the internal circuits in contact with the air as much as possible, so that the electromagnetic waves generated by the internal circuits will "leak" to the outside in a large amount.
Process of the backlight of TFT LCD FTF LCD
Anyone who knows a little about LCD liquid crystal displays knows that the liquid crystal itself does not emit light on its own. It needs to be matched with a backlight to make it light. Let me introduce to you the process flow of the LCD liquid crystal display backlight.
The backlight can be of any color. Monochrome liquid crystals usually have backlights such as yellow, green, blue, and white. The color display uses white light because it covers the most shades. The difference between the backlight type of the LCD screen and the front light type is that the backlight is illuminated from the side or the back.
Backlight production process:
1. Cut and divide the plexiglass plate, cut the large piece of ground into small pieces, and then perform silk-screen printing after dividing it into pieces.
2. Cut the silk-screened board into corresponding light guide plate materials according to the engineering drawings.
3. Paste the cut light guide plate with film paper, including LCD diffuser film and reflective film. Attach the diffused and reflective light guide plate for edge wrapping operation.
4. Finally, the lamp installation process is carried out. This is the production of our side backlight process.
