About the display angle of the TFT LCD display

Thelcd is a kind of backlight display device, and the light emitted by the lcd liquid crystal display is provided by the backlight behind the LCD liquid crystal display module, which inevitably leads to an optimal viewing angle of the liquid crystal display. When you look at it from other angles, because the backlight can penetrate adjacent pixels and enter the human eye, it can cause color distortion, and the range that is not distorted is the angle of view. The viewing angle of the LCD display is also divided into a horizontal viewing angle and a vertical viewing angle, and the horizontal viewing angle is generally larger than the vertical viewing angle.

In life, whether you notice the LCD screen or not, it has different effects from different angles. From the middle of the LCD display, and from the side, the light intensity entering the human eye is different. For the same picture, there is light, there is a dark 

condition, that is, the contrast is different. In combination with the definition of perspective, the corresponding viewing angle of the liquid crystal screen is perspective in the range of contrast acceptable to the human eye.

The viewing angle of the LCD screen is a headache. When the backlight passes through the polarizer, the liquid crystal, and the alignment layer, the output light has directivity. In other words, most of the light is emitted vertically from the screen, so when 

you look at the LCD screen from a larger angle, you can't see the original color, or even see all white or all black.

The LCD screen on the market can meet the application needs of most users as long as the horizontal viewing angle reaches 120 degrees and the vertical viewing angle reaches 140 degrees. The latest LCD screens are made with wide-angle technology, up to 

140 degrees, about 150 degrees, which reduces the inconvenience caused by the small viewing angle of the LCD screen. Of course , this performance is not comparable to a CRT display that is close to 180 degrees, but it is sufficient for most applications.
