What Are the Characteristics of the Capacitive Touch Screen?

1. Features of capacitive touch screen

Accuracy: It has 99% accuracy.

Material: It uses completely scratch-resistant glass material, which is not easy to be scratched and worn by sharp objects, and is not affected by common pollution sources, such as water, fire, radiation, static electricity, dust or oil. It also has the eye protection function as goggles.

Sensitivity: It can sense a force of fewer than two ounces, and it can respond quickly to a force less than 3ms.

Clarity: The capacitive touch screen is available in three surface treatments.

Touch life: Each point of the capacitive touch screen can withstand more than 50 million touches, and the cursor will not drift after one calibration.

2. Capacitive touch screen technology

Capacitive touch technology is a touch technology that makes use of changes in capacitance generated when a finger approaches the capacitive touch panel. Capacitive touch has two important capacitance parameters. One is the sensing capacitance between the finger and the upper sensing material, and the other is the parasitic capacitance between the sensing material or between the sensing material and the optical panel.

There is parasitic capacitance among the capacitive touch screen conductors. When the finger conductor is close to the sensing conductor of different voltages, the induced capacitance will also change. The capacitance sensing effect refers to how to detect a small change in the sensing capacitance of 0.1 to 2 pF units under a larger parasitic capacitance value.

Capacitive touch screen technology is relatively stable with high reliability. Since the human body is a capacitor, the capacitance change generated when touching the touch panel can achieve the sensing touch effect.
