PMOLED advantages and disadvantages

 Advantages: simple AM_OLED process and simple structure.

Disadvantages: large size is difficult. In order to maintain the brightness of the whole panel, it is necessary to improve the brightness of each Pixel and increase the operating current, which will reduce the OLED Device's life. Current Drive control is not easy.

AMOLED advantages and disadvantages

Advantages: large size, power saving, high resolution, long panel life, simple Data Driver design.

Disadvantages: complex process and high TFT variability."

Application of OLED Technology

Owing to the above advantages, in the commercial field OLED the display screen can be applied to POS and ATM machines, photocopiers, game consoles, etc.; in the communication field, it can be applied to mobile phones, mobile network terminals, etc.; in the computer field, it can be widely used in PDA、 commercial PC and household PC、 laptops; in the consumer electronics field, it can be applied to audio equipment, digital cameras, portable DVD; in industrial applications, instruments, etc.; in the transportation field, it can be used in GPS、 aircraft instruments, etc."
